Saint Gobain
Saint-Gobain Corporation manufactures high purity products
commonly described as sanitary process equipment. These
high purity products range from sanitary tubing through
sanitary connections, clamps and high purity pipe systems.
The target markets for these purity products are: Food
and Beverage, Chemical Processing, Industrial, Laboratory
process equipment, Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Medical, Semiconductor
Processing and Environmental.
FDA and USDA approved tubing, hoses, and fittings are
manufactured in a variety of materials such as silicone,
reinforced silicone and wire reinforced silicone. The fluropolymer
hoses and tubing are manufactured of PTFE, FEP, and PFA
materials with stainless steel, EPDM, polypropylene, and
silicone outer covers. They are available with sanitary
connections including Tri-Clamp fittings, Cam-Lock fittings,
NPT fittings, JIC fittings, and Unitized fittings, and
ANSI Flange fittings. Also many of the hoses and some of
the tubing are available in the smooth bore or convoluted
configuration.
Sanitary piping systems are available in Polypropylene,
and PVDF. Plastic containment tanks are manufactured in
the same materials used by sanitary piping systems, and
are also available in High Density Polyethlene. Tank stands
come in two varieties Stainless Steel and coated Carbon
Steel.>/p>
Plastic piping is connected with one of two types of sanitary
piping connections. This includes a connection with a sanitary
tri-clamp fitting/s joined with a PVDF clamp and sanitary
gasket, or the alternative system which uses a fused piping
joint called S.I.B (smooth inner bore). These plastic piping
systems have a wide assortment of components and attachments
including, tees, elbows, diaphragm valves, ball valves,
zero dead leg valves, regulators, end caps, gauge guards,
and many other piping items.
The SANIseal™ Solution
Saint-Gobain
Performance Plastics has resolved the issue of hose identification
with the new SANIseal™ silicone label encapsulation
system (Patent Number 6,660,396).This unique one-step
system now allows the fabricator or end user to record
information such as date of manufacture (DOM), lot number,
process used on, fabricator’s identity, part number
or simply the telephone number to call for a replacement.
Combine labels with a system of color-coded bands for
easy identification of hoses.
Ultra Pure Products expertise with sanitary process
systems and aseptic fluid transfer culminates with over
13 years of technical experience, providing high purity
products and cost effective solutions. |
